The strong practice orientation of our degree course has resulted in the German Centre for the Development of Higher Education (CHE) awarding us the highest grade (5 stars) in their Employability Rating 2016.

The second factor besides practice-orientation contributing to this result was internationality. What was highly appreciated in this respect, were English being the language of instruction, students being required to learn at least one language from the target region (Baltic Sea Region) and the various mandatory types of international experience – excursions, internship semester and study semester abroad.

Moreover, our strong focus on developing students’ social and methodological competencies, was recognised as essential for the high labour-market acceptance our students meet with.
